About Us
Welcome to Leaping Willow Academy! We offer non-competitive children's recreational combo dance classes in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and creative movement. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for beginner to intermediate dancers to explore their love of dance without the pressure of competition. At Leaping Willow Academy, we focus on proper technique while fostering creativity and self-expression. Our classes are designed to build confidence and encourage a lifelong love of dance. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, nurturing, and body-positive environment where every dancer feels supported and empowered.
The safety of our dancers is priority. All Staff members are BCI background checked, and security cameras are throughout the building to ensure a secure environment. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are in good hands while they explore the joy of dance.

Miss Layla
Layla developed a passion for dance at a young age. Over the years, Layla expanded her repertoire to include lyrical, contemporary, pointe, jazz, and technique, with a foundation in Cecchetti, Classical and Vaganova ballet. She trained for several years in the Cleveland Ballet’s pre-professional program where she had the opportunity to perform in Cleveland Ballet productions of The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty at Playhouse Square. Layla is currently a professional company trainee with North Pointe Ballet. In addition to her own training and performances, Layla has a love for sharing the joy of dance and inspiring the next generation of dancers. She brings several years of teaching and choreographing experience in the styles of ballet, jazz, and contemporary and is excited to bring children’s recreational combo classes to Leaping Willow Academy.
